Farmers Market at Ix, March 23, 2024
Last week was a taste of warm weather, and we thank you all for coming out to the market. This week we’re back to the core marketwith farm products, and essentials available. The “extras” will take a break due to the forecast of heavy rain and wind. Some products like paper cards, soap, metal jewelry or tie dye clothing, simply can’t withstand the damage from water. In addition, tents are not recommended in winds above 30 mph. These conditions again point to the need for a permanent home for full time markets in Charlottesville ( for City Market and Market at Ix) where a shelter could be built to support markets in most weather conditions.
